Prayer to Forgive

Lord, I come before You with humble repentance for all my sins. Grant me forgiveness and grace that I may continue to abide in Your love and mercy. All the days of my life lead me away from temptation and into righteousness. Help me to find assurance in You as I offer prayers of sincere contrition for my failures. Let no sin remain unconfessed so that a healing path can please You above all else. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I come before Your throne of grace, knowing that You are slow to anger and rich in mercy. From the bottom of my heart, I humbly ask for forgiveness for any offenses committed against You and anyone else. Please forgive me for anything I have done wrong, knowingly or unknowingly. Help me to forgive others by filling my heart with Your righteousness and unconditional love so that I can freely give it away as You desire. In Jesus’ strong name, Amen!

Dear God, I come before you humbly asking for forgiveness. I have wronged and hurt others, including my friends and family, yet still, I failed to recognize the severity of my actions. Now that I realize how much harm I’ve caused, I ask that You grant me redemption and help me build stronger relationships with those around me. Please forgive me and grant me the strength to make amends. In Christ’s name, Amen.

Merciful Father, I come to You in humble prayer, asking for Your gracious forgiveness. Despite my intentions and best efforts, I have failed You once again. Please, Lord, fill my heart with mercy and grace so that I may be forgiven and correct whatever wrongs I have done. Dear Merciful Lord, I bring you the hurt I feel from what this person did to me. Help me forgive and let go of any resentment or ill feelings this has left in my heart. Please help me understand that no one is perfect and allow grace to fill my being while I work on letting go of the pain they caused.
