Prayer for Someone Who Has Hurt You

Dear Father, in my struggles with pain and inner turmoil, I turn to You. A family member has been deeply hurt by a person whose actions pierce our hearts. Your wisdom tells us to forgive but Father, it is a struggle. Grace me with strength and understanding so that I may truly forgive and find peace once again. Amen.

Heavenly Father, amidst the troubled tide of negative feelings stirred by one who caused me harm, grant me the courage to let go. Replace my heart’s darkness with Your divine light. Guide me, oh Lord, to release these harming echoes of past wrongs; instead, allow me a spirit touched by forgiveness and peace. Amen.

Jesus, in the tenderness of Your own heart, I implore your divine mercy. I carry wounds from hurtful things said and done; it’s a pain I feel deeply. Shower me with Your heavenly grace, help me find healing for my tormented spirit, and awaken in me the strength to pardon those who’ve caused this pain. Amen.

Lord God, In Your infinite kindness, grant me strength to reflect Your boundless love towards one who has wronged me.
