St Colette Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, we, as childless couples, humbly beseech Your Divine assistance. Through the blessed intercession of Saint Colette and Blessed Virgin Mary, guardians of expectant mothers, provide us with guidance. O Lord, with hopeful hearts and unwavering faith, we seek Your gift of conception to bear children who will extol Your greatness in their lives. Amen.

Glorious St. Colette, protector of expectant mothers, we turn to you in hope and sincerity. Inspired by the same Holy Spirit through whom the Incarnate Word was born of the Virgin Mary, we trustingly pray for a healthy baby. Shower your blessings on all expectant mothers, that they may safely deliver their children under your tender care. We humbly ask you to intercede with God on our behalf and grant us this cherished wish. St. Colette, please pray for us before His throne. In His name we carry these hopes and aspirations forever in our hearts. Amen.

In the face of our sins, we turn to you Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. Do not abandon us in this time of regret, for we know what our sins deserve but hear us out. Inspired by Saint Colette’s life, marked by perpetual fasting and extreme poverty for Your purpose, we humbly seek your forgiveness and guidance. We endeavor to consecrate our lives to God with unwavering faith and profound repentance. Amen.

O Good Jesus, hear our plea as we usher this prayer through the intercession of St. Colette. Just as she healed sick children during her life, we seek her blessings for the ill and weak now. Strengthen them with Your divine grace, O Blessed One. We firmly believe in St. Colette’s good works, and humbly ask you to let these children be the recipients of Your salvation that she so gracefully bestowed upon others. Through St. Colette’s blessed intercession, may they recover swiftly and find solace in Your love. Amen.

Gracious St. Colette, as I echo your life’s example of obedience and dedication, may all my deeds be performed for thy glory. Inspired by your deep devotion to God, I pray that all my desires may be accomplished according to what God wills and not what pleases me. Entrust me with the same love and commitment you showed toward the poor and oppressed during your time on earth. By His grace, let the work henceforth I undertake reflect His divine purpose in every facet of my existence. With a heart overflowing with love for God, filled and guided by His holy presence, let me serve Him as devotedly as thou have served Him. Amen.

Humbled by our yearning for tranquility, we turn to you, Saint Colette, embodiment of divine serenity. In the Holy Name of our dear Lord, we seek your heavenly intercession, as you found peace in purest poverty. As it is written in John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you.” With hopeful hearts and fervent plea: Lord hear us. Amen.

As my dear parents are no longer amongst us, I call upon you, Dearest Lord, to grant me strength and consolation in my lament. Bring some solace to my grieving heart. ‘May the Lord hear in the day of trouble’, as affirmed in Psalm 20:1. By Your divine power, Christ God and Man, help me find hope amidst this sorrowful period of reflection. Amidst our profound sadness let us not forget the promise of eternity with You. Amen.

Father, in the glory of Your holy presence, we seek strength. Strengthen us in faith through trials, as sins may shadow our path. Despite them, let the glory and our salvation always guide us towards Jesus our Redeemer. As proclaimed in Hebrews 11:1, ‘Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.’ Empower us to hold steadfast to this truth. Amidst struggles, may our hearts resonate with unwavering faith and humility before You. Amen.

At this sacred hour, we come before You, Lord Jesus Christ God, with all our desires. Reminding us of Your apostle’s words: “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), we look to You for guidance. In the protective mantle of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, we find peace this afternoon and assurance in Your divine presence. Guide our actions toward love and kindness every moment of this day. Amen.

Blessed be the Holy, Blessed be the Hour; we stand in awe of Your majestic power. Under the watchful intercession of the glorious St. Colette, whose life was accomplished for Your glory, guide our actions and decisions. We submit ourselves in humble admiration to You, recalling Luke 2:14 – “Glory to God in the highest heaven”. The radiant Mary and in memory of her divine son Jesus, we ask through intercession that Your glory may shine upon us. Blessed be the Glorious; Forever adoring, forever submitted to You. Amen.
