Prayer for Self-Harm

Divine Redeemer, help me in my darkest hour. When inner demons lure me toward self-harm, bless me with resilience to resist; infuse hope where despair lies. Strengthen my frailty, tender God, and fortify my heart’s granite resolve to outlast these tempestuous urges. Through your infinite mercy, instill harmonious melodies of self-love and acceptance within my soul. In kinship with others on similar paths—may we support each other, bravely enduring together. Infuse our spirits with Your courage as we turn back the tide of destructive tendencies and find comfort in Your eternal light and love. Amen.

With unwavering trust in your transformative might I pray – may these lessons molded out of trials craft wings sturdy enough for flight yet tender enough for empathy’s embrace toward one who is kindred in suffering.
