St. John Vianney Prayer

Dearest St. John Vianney, patron saint of parish priests, I come before you today seeking your intercession for the discernment of vocations. As a faithful servant who loved God with all your heart and spent long hours hearing confessions, you are a shining example of dedication and holiness. Lord Jesus Christ, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I humbly ask you to grant me the grace to discern my calling in life, whether it be as a priest, religious or layperson. Help me to follow your will with courage and love. Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus, pray for us as we strive to serve God faithfully on earth, so that we may one day join you and all the saints in heaven. Amen.

Oh, infinitely lovable God, we come before you today, seeking the intercession of St. John Vianney, patron saint of parish priests. We ask you, Lord Jesus Christ, to send the Holy Spirit upon all who are called to the priesthood so that they may be formed with a strong faith and love for you.
