O Saint Genevieve, patron saint of Paris, we humbly come before you seeking your intercession for protection against disasters. In your holy life, you served God with devotion and sought to care for the poor, the sick, and the abandoned. Through your prayers, many miracles occurred, and you encouraged the besieged to seek God’s guidance and strength. We pray, St. Genevieve, that you intercede for us, asking the Holy Spirit to make us stronger in our faith, to reject temptation, and to follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. May your example of a devoted Christian heart inspire us to serve God and our needy brothers and sisters. Please ask for God’s protection upon us and our country in times of disaster.
