Prayer for Asian Americans

Dearest Lord, my heart cries out for Your divine intervention amid the hate crimes brutalizing Asian Americans. Enkindle in every heart an enduring flame of understanding, as articulated so eloquently in Proverbs 3:13: “Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding.” Impart your healing touch upon our torn society, and fill us with foresight to preempt future disasters. In Jesus’s Name, I submit this humble appeal, Amen.

Loving Heavenly Father, we implore with deep humility for Your divine protection for our brethren – Asian American brothers. “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble” (Psalm 9:9). May they experience your unfailing commitment to justice, and the comforting embrace of Your peace. Fend off harm’s way, O Lord and flood their lives with the serenity that surpasses understanding. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Gracious Father, I humbly petition you for the resilient spirit amidst adversity. Specifically, we seek your divine strength for our Asian American brethren grappling with cultural and social challenges. Nurture their willpower, fortify their determination, and forever remind them of your all-governing love. Amen.

Heavenly Architect, I find myself in fervent plea for the Asian Americans among us, that they may retain their rich linguistic and cultural heritage. May Your divine guidance lead them in the preservation of their mother tongue, a beautiful testament to their history and identity. Unite us all in understanding and respect for this diversity, making us richer for it. In Your name we pray, Amen.

Majestic Creator, in the quiet whispers of my heart, I petition for Your divine intervention. Breath upon the scales of justice and equality, especially for our Asian American brothers and sisters. Move mightily among their lives, Lord. Let each tear shed and struggle borne stir a powerful shift towards their rightful place in Your kingdom of love, fairness, and equity. Amen.

Ever mindful Lord, as I read your words in Joshua 1:9 where You command us to be strong and courageous, I implore you for the strength and empowerment of Asian Americans. Amidst the adversity they face in society, bolster them with unwavering faith and indomitable resolve. Let them stand firm yet graceful against the tide of intolerance, exemplifying Your love and character in their shared humanity. Guide us all towards unity rather than division. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Benevolent Watcher, in undying faith we entreat. Through Your mercy, shield our elderly within the Asian American community from harm, treasuring their safety above all. Embrace them with Your grace to fortify health and ooze vitality into their twilight years. Radiate prosperity; let it flow ceaselessly upon them. In your compassionate might, uplift their spirits and cultivate an abode of peace around them. Amen.

In the solemn whisper of Your divine presence, I implore You, Oh Immutable One. As discord tears through the fabric of our Asian American community, bestow upon us the miracle of reconciliation. Sew in our hearts a renewed appreciation for diversity and foster unity from this understanding. Ignite in us, Lord, an intercultural understanding that bridges differences and fosters harmony. This I ask with fervent faith and love for You who possesses eternal wisdom. Amen.
