Loving God, you called Saint Katharine Drexel to be a beacon of hope and justice among the poor, the African Americans, and the Native Americans. Through her intercession, we ask you to grant us the grace to work tirelessly for racial equality and justice in our world today. May we be inspired by her devotion to the Eucharistic community, love for the Holy Eucharist, and unwavering faith in your Son, Jesus Christ. Strengthen our resolve to follow her example and to announce the good news to all, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Heavenly Father, through the intercession of St. Katharine Drexel, we humbly ask for the grace to serve the marginalized, especially in the field of education. As St. Katharine Drexel was devoted to the spiritual and educational growth of African American and Native American peoples, may we, too, be inspired by her example and follow the path of compassion and justice. As the daughter of Francis Drexel, an international banker, and a devout Catholic, you experienced a privileged upbringing with private tutors and a loving family. Yet, you chose to use your wealth and influence to help those in need, like distributing food in Santa Fe and founding a boarding school in New Mexico. Inspired by your encounter with Pope Leo XIII, who called upon you to become a missionary and teach the poor, you founded the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, dedicating your life to serving the poor and marginalized. Your example of faith and compassion inspires me to be an advocate for the vulnerable in our world today. Through your intercession, St. Katharine Drexel, I pray that you will help me to live a life of love and service, as you did during your time on earth. I ask you to watch over those whose human rights are threatened, and grant them the strength and courage to persevere.
