Prayer to Defeat the Devil

Heavenly Father, in the powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we rise against our greatest enemy, Satan. We command Your divine authority, hopeful and convinced that You will defeat the work of darkness surrounding us. Emboldened by Your Word, we stand triumphant over evil’s menace, for greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world. Confronting Satan with audacious faith in You, Lord Jesus Christ, we claim victory. Banish all his deceptions and force him into retreat. In reliance on Your sovereignty and might, we remain steadfast, certain that with You on our side, no foe can stand. Amen.

In the audacity of faith, we stand against the works of Satan that scatter darkness across our world and infest life with evil. “No weapon formed against us shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). Stirring within us a transformative power, Divine Eternal Father, shatter the serpentine chains that bind Your children.
