Prayer for Appendix Surgery

Gracious Father, I dwell in the refuge of Your very presence as I brave my upcoming appendix surgery. With Jeremiah 17:14’s divine utterance resonating in my spirit – “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed”- I cling to the promise of healing and restoration that You, my Refuge, bestow. Calm my anxious heart, clear the fog of fear. May swift recovery trail this procedure like a faithful shadow, and let success reign supreme. As peaceful serenity saturates this very moment of anticipation, sacred whispers of hope assure me of tomorrow’s dawn. Hold me in Your paternal grasp through every step of this journey—You are my strength now and forevermore. Amen.

Everlasting Sovereign, in this moment of impending surgery, we humbly beseech Your divine guidance upon the surgeons. As instruments in Your mighty hand, sharpen their acuity and steady their hands.
