Prayer of Renunciation

I bow in worship and praise before You, Lord. With the precious blood of Jesus Christ as my protection, I humbly surrender myself to You. By renewing my mind, I transform, confessing with thankfulness that You are the Son of God, my Savior and Lord who died on the Cross of Calvary for me and rose victoriously from death in victory. I renounce all anger and hurtful acts of revenge, free myself from all resentment towards others, and break any bondages caused by hatred or witchcraft practiced by ancestors or people inside our circles. Instead, I will learn to forgive them; gain control back in our lives by choosing to share love rather than harboring evil thoughts against others. May this change of mine bring Your peace on Earth! Amen.

O Lord, forgive my sin of anger and resentment. I renounce the thoughts of revenge towards any person who has hurt me in any way and release all hatred from my heart. Help me let go of the pain and move on with love in my heart to find peace. Amen.
