Prayer for Those Who Despitefully Use You

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come before you with a humble heart, seeking your healing and peace. I am reminded of your words in Matthew 5:44: “But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.” Thank you for this powerful teaching, my Savior. I confess that it is difficult for me to deal with the hurt and pain caused by those who have mistreated me. Yet, I choose to follow your example and extend forgiveness to my enemies. Help me find the strength to not only forgive but also to pray for their well-being. Fill me with your Holy Spirit as I turn away from hatred and sin. May your healing power flow through every part of my being – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Let your peaceful presence envelop me in difficult times.
