Prayer for Humility and Gratitude

Heavenly Father, we bow before You today with hearts yearning for Your wisdom and guidance. In our joy and in our pain, let us be enveloped by the wings of Your love. Every good and perfect gift comes from You, Lord Jesus Christ, the creator of all the earth in its grandeur and beauty. Help us to discern through God’s grace that our present circumstances are part of your divine plan. With true humility, we acknowledge our need for You. We ask not to take for granted all the benefits that come from living a life under Your watchful eyes. Incline our hearts towards joyful contentment and thankfulness, even amid trials. Dear Lord, remind us of Psalm 100:5 “For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever,” so that every day we will approach life with a thankful heart soaked in God’s love. Unite us within Your holy kindness as we continue thanking God for lessons learnt along life’s journey. May the seed of gratitude flourish within us today and always. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I come before You, seeking the humility that only Your grace can provide. Burdened with my prideful persona, I invite the Holy Spirit to refine my character, creating a heart obedient and faithful. In Christ Jesus, I find all perfect gifts, the ultimate model for subservience to God’s will. Teach us, Lord Jesus, to sing praises even when life presently seems void of joy. Guide us to pray continually and surrender every aspect of this life that we may bring pleasure to You alone. May our lives reflect Your humility in all circumstances. Amen.

In our journey, we face difficult circumstances that test us. Yet, Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, guides us through every path. Father in Heaven, we praise You continuously and seek Your truth with humility. Forgive our past transgressions through Your eternal mercy. Replace fear with joy in our hearts as we learn to carry our burdens with grace. Inspire us continually to offer thanks and live according to Your divine wisdom throughout eternity. Help us understand that humility is the bedrock of wisdom, Lord. Amen.

Oh, Most Blessed One, we humbly come before You, seeking Your mercy, wisdom, and guidance. Our souls deeply desire to cultivate a heart of humility and compassion. Breathe upon us, Divine Source of light and truth, reinforcing the veracity that exists within our souls. In the rawness of humility, we honor the glory that is Your eternal love, acknowledging its burnishing in our lives. We accept with profound gratitude the wisdom imprinted on us, where truth dwells unswerving and resolute. Gift us understanding to discern this sacred truth as the compass to eternal life. May thankfulness remain in our hearts for sanctifying us with this sincerity of purpose and clarity of thought. In Your name we pray lovingly but humbly for these gifts, Amen.

Blessed Redeemer, we fall before Your majestic throne with hearts brimming with gratitude. Amid life’s winding journey, we witness firsthand the manifestation of Your unending goodness—pervading our lives, painting colours of blessings in our days and nights. With the Psalmist’s humble declaration in Psalm 23:6; “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,” we boldly proclaim this truth in our shared existence. How grateful we are, oh Lord, for Your benevolent hand upon us! Accept, Father, our heartfelt acknowledgment. For from dusk till dawn, in the whisper of winds or roar of tempests—Your goodness remains untarnished. We thank You Profoundly! May we continue to bask in its radiance; reflecting it unto others as a testament to Your undying love. In all humility and gratitude we pray… Amen.
