Humility Prayer

Loving God, I humbly call upon You today. Grant me the grace to walk humbly amidst the trials and victories of life. Infuse my spirit with a desire for grounding, not grandeur. Through the utterance of this humility prayer, allow my actions and words to radiate humility in your presence. Let it be so, for Your glory and honor. Amen.

In true humility, I bow before You, O God. Immerse me in Your grace and let the Holy Spirit guide my heart to exaltation in Your divine presence. Endow upon me a spirit of humility, that I may be ever humble, praising Your boundless love and mercy. Amen.

Almighty God, guide me in my quest to be meek and humble. Grant me the grace to become an imitation of Jesus, ever humble of heart. Please hear me, oh Lord. May I embrace a gentle spirit that reflects Your divine tenderness and tranquillity only found in Jesus’ humility and meekness.

Oh Sovereign Lord, I stand before You humbly, acknowledging my pride and the desire within me to be esteemed. These things hold me captive and disrupt my peace. Yet, in Your wisdom, You have called us to humility rather than adulation. I entreat Your divine assistance to quench this overbearing sense of self-importance that engulfs me, replacing it with true freedom inherited through humility. Transform my heart and fill it with profound modesty, sincere gentleness, and shareable love; therein lays true dignity. In your mercy hear this prayer, oh God of timeless glory. Amen.

Heavenly Father, in your infinite mercy, grant me the strength to vanquish my fears. Fortify me against the dread of rebuke, the horror of being forgotten, and the terror of being despised. Purify my soul so that it may not fear ridicule or wrongs. Through Your divine grace, let me remain humble so that these fears may fade into insignificance before Your supreme love and wisdom. Amen.

Glorious Lord, in the midst of suffering rebukes, I implore your compassionate attention. As per your Holy word in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”, draw near me, deliver me Jesus! Encase me within your comfort and resounding love. May you enrich my spirit with celestial humility so that I may embrace my tribulations with grace and fortitude. You alone are my refuge, holy and majestic. In You, Lord, do I find my strength. Amen.

Esteemed Lord, in your perfect wisdom and infinite love, empower me to walk a mile in the shoes of the world. As a humble servant, I seek understanding beyond my limited view. Surpassing mere opinion, may I embrace humility to seek Your truth. As a fervent prayer ascends from my being, I beseech Your grace to guide me towards empathy and compassion for all of humanity. Amen.

Father above, I beseech you today with a heavy heart burdened with the fear of being suspected and the fear of being forgotten. I yearn for the grace to desire humility above all, even when it means forsaking my own desire of being praised. Allow me to find peace and fulfillment in Your divine acceptance – letting that be my greatest praise. Help me steer clear from mortal weaknesses, grounding me firmly in heavenly virtues. I come before You, Holy Spirit, with a yearning for a heart as humble as Yours. I pray that in serving others, it is not my will but Your divine love that guides me. Gracious and merciful God, I grapple with the worldly desire of being preferred, consulted, extolled, approved, and honored. The scripture reminds me “So the last will be first, and the first last” (Matthew 20:16). Teach me to seek your heavenly approval above all else. Guide my heart towards humility and service, choosing to be last so you may lift me up in due time. Amen.

Dearest Christ, ever humble and submissive, may your Litany be my guide. I yearn not for the desire of being praised, but to be humbled in silence. May I find joy not in worldly honors, but rather relish the contentment of being unnoticed. As you were praised by our Father and honored in humility, grant me the same grace. May every laudation aimed at me only serve to laud You more fervently. Amen.
