Prayer for Enemies

Almighty Father, in the merciful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I sincerely entreat you. Kindle within the hearts of God’s enemies an unyielding call for repentance. Amid their spite, let them bow and pray, humbled before your divine greatness. Transform hatred into love, rivalry into unity. Amen.

Dearest Heavenly Father, I humbly implore for your divine protection against the enemy. Clothe me, Lord, in your armor of righteousness that no harm may befall me. Stand between me and those who wish ill upon me. O Divine Protector, guide my path and shield me from all negativity. I am ever faithful in You, my fortress and my stronghold. Amen.

Jesus Christ, in your teachings, you call us to love our enemies, an action that can sometimes feel insurmountable. Guided by the Apostle Paul’s encouragement, we seek the grace to genuinely express this love. Let your divine light help us understand better how to manifest this seemingly elusive love. Amen.

Lord God, inspired by your word in Romans 12:20, I ponder the image of a heap of burning coals.
