Prayer to Guard My Mouth

Lord, humbly we come before You, seeking Your guidance to guard our mouths. Help us, dear Lord, to refrain from speaking ill or engaging in unwholesome talk. May the words we speak be of love and truth, not evil. Keep an unwavering watch over the door of our lips; set a guard and grant us self-control where our tongues are weak.
