Prayer of Relinquishment

Dear Father, we come to You in all the faith we can muster, humbly letting go of our self will. Touched deeply by the trust that human Jesus wished upon us, we seek His path, surrendering our control. As a demanding spirit for the earthly kingdom tempts us, let Your heavenly power begin flowing through our human affairs. Even if God absolutely refuses what we yearn for, let us find delight today not in our plans but in either the presence or the promise of Yours. We trust God above all else. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, in times of pain, I recognize that my own life is transient and falls under Your dominion. As my recovery began a few hours ago, I am filled with hope. Embracing the uncertainty of the result, I abandon myself to Your loving care. You who heal and sustain us, may Your will be done. Amen.

In the stream of human beings, we stand united yet unique, seeking perseverance through Christ’s insistence on boundless love. We humbly yield our personal longings and plans for Your sake, dear Jesus. In hopes shared by all hearts at the same point on life’s compass, we yearn for the serenity born out of love towards one another. With keen awareness of the wisdom that our loving Father sends and an altruistic eagerness to embrace it fully, we surrender ourselves to You. Let this be our guiding truth in all actions proceeding henceforth, maintaining a benevolent approach every day in honor of Your holy name. Amen.

Spirit Divine, as curious inventors on the vibrant canvas of life, we reach out to You. With hearts wide open, we willingly accept the outcomes from our endeavors and experiments. By Your grace and direction, may what has resulted consistently be transformed into stepping stones for further experimentation. We courageously surrender to Your guiding hand, trusting that all phases are integral segments of this grand design. Be with us, O Divine Curator of Life’s Many Experiments, as we submit enthusiastically to the captivating dance between control and capitulation. For in this divine dance lies the miracle of growth and learning. Amen.
