Prayer for Sexless Marriage

Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your intervention in my sexless marriage. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 7:5, “Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.” Lord, I pray for healing and reconciliation between my spouse and me. Remove any emotional barriers causing this rift in our physical relationship. Help us, dear God, to express our desires openly and seek mutually satisfying intimacy together. Pour out your Holy Spirit upon us that we may bear one another’s burdens with love and understanding. Please give me the wisdom to say the right words when talking to my spouse about our sexual intimacy struggles. May we keep an open mind and an expectant heart as we pray for restoration.
