Prayer for Prom Night

Dear Lord God, as we welcome this special evening of prom night, we come before You with joy and anticipation. Bless each student who will attend prom tonight. We thank You for gracing us with yet another exciting prom season where friendships are celebrated through dance tonight. May Your blessings, Lord, be upon us to create healthy good memories that would last a lifetime from the music and camaraderie that fill the air. Guide us in every step we take, ring in safety and wrap this festive night in Your love. May hope glow in everyone’s heart for an unforgettable celebration. Amen.

As we gather to celebrate the joy and excitement of this Prom Night, we pray in Your holy name, for a fun evening filled with laughter and wonderful memories. Grant us the wisdom to make personal choices that reflect our upbringing, choices that honor our parent’s guidance. Guide us so as not to fall into temptations but to exhibit self-restraint and integrity. We recall Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” May this wonderful night be an embodiment of joyous farewell yet cautious stepping forward towards greater adventures ahead.
