Prayer for Mood Swings

Precious Lord, in the turmoil of this emotional tempest, I find myself restless. As the waves of my mood shift unpredictably—sometimes gentle, other times stormy—I yearn for Your calming embrace. Hear me now, as I echo David’s words: “Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I,” (Psalm 61:2). In You alone, I seek refuge amidst these undulating emotions; in You alone, my equilibrium restores. God Almighty and Gentle Shepherd, guide this heart to placid waters and endless tranquility. Let Your unwavering grace cloak me as a beacon in the storm—that amidst these winds of change, I may find peace in your unchanging love. Amen.
