Prayer for Lost Cat

Dearest God, in the shrine of our Lady, we humbly come before You. With heavy hearts and hopeful spirits, we pray for our beloved lost pet. Lord God, with Your mercy, guide us on this search for our lost cat. Show us the way with kindly words and gentle hands as Albert Schweitzer’s offering did inspire many to value all creatures’ lives. Heavenly Father, we beseech you to bless also those who comforted us with their empathy and shared in our sorrow. We ask for the joy that sprouts from rediscovering what is previously lost come into our lives as a divine blessing from You. Amen.

In the turmoil of our lost pet, we find ourselves anxious, yearning for the familiar sound of your paws against our floors and for your sweet purring filling our home with so much joy. We implore Mother Earth and Holy Spirit, bring to us our lost cat, one of God’s creatures who unfolds all Your beauty before us daily. Gracious aid in finding lost things, guide us by your wisdom. May we regain God’s grace and find peace in this troubled time. Remind us that true friends could come on four legs; a friend embellished with a furry coat full of warmth, welcoming hands and kindly words. May we be reunited under the same roof again soon – disentangling from desperation and embracing joy once more. Welcome home, dear friend of earth. Amen.

As I seek solace and feel nostalgic for our beloved pet, we come to You, Jesus Christ, imploring Your mercy. You who have power over all living creatures, guide our lost cat home. Tenderly regard other animals cruelly treated among us and enable them to become true friends of animals like the Basilica and Shrine’s lost dog who seeks lost articles. Comfort our cat if it is fearful or hungry, remembering your boundless love for dearest God Heavenly Father’s creation. Guide us in this hopeful quest; Amen.

St. Francis, patron saint of lost animals, hear our urgent plea. Our wistful creatures, once companions at our side, have gone missing from earth’s secure embrace. According to thy mercy, may Your gentle hands and kindly heart guide them back to us. “A righteous man regards the life of his pet” (Proverbs 12:10), yet the underfed and tired find little solace in this truth. We beseech You not for ourselves alone but for these friends; their absence distresses us beyond measure. Omniscient Father, expedite their safe return that our joy may be full once more. Amen.

O Heavenly Father Maker, hear our desperate plea. Patron Saint of Lost Articles, guide us, as we search for our dear feline friend. In hope and faith, we beseech you to watch over the friends of animals especially overworked in their search. Bless us with your divine intervention in this urgent endeavor. Amen.
