Prayer for Domestic Violence

Almighty Lord, in the heartache of domestic violence, we seek Your healing touch. Sustain, O Jesus Christ, souls tormented by abuse. Empower those who feel dominated and powerless with courage to stand for human life and dignity. Holy Spirit, drain our fear and replenish it with faith; let us not falter. We beseech You to mend the hurt caused by our spouses’ hatred , for You are a God of justice. Instill hope within Your victims and help them break free from this darkness. We rely on your everlasting love to guide us through these trials. In your blessed name, oh Lord, may this appeal awaken hearts to choose love over fear. Amen.

God, our Refuge, in the midst of darkness and pain from the evil spirit of domestic violence, we reach out to You. Enlighten our souls with wisdom to resist feelings of low self-esteem rooted in this sin. We’re praying earnestly for healing and restoration for all victims, including the innocent children swept up in these cruel altercations that stain their lives indelibly.
