Prayer for Depression Relapse

Dearest Lord, in this hour of darkest trial, when hope seems but a wisp of smoke lost in a consuming fog, come fill us with Your glorious light. When despair cascades like a cruel deluge, provide safe harbor in Your unending love. Hold our trembling hands and cast away this heavy veil of depression that clings so stubbornly to our hearts. Embed within us the divine assurance that through the unforgiving night, dawn awaits with its promise of joy and renewal. Keep us steadfast in faith and unwavering in strength as we navigate this oppressive current. Never alone under Your eternal watch, we yearn for the tranquil respite found only in Your divine gaze. Grant us Lord, the strength to endure this storm, for with You there is always hope, even amongst desolation. Hear our plea as we surrender wholly unto You; cleanse our spirits, rejuvenate our willpower—our lives are Your sacred song sung into eternity; let no discord mar its harmonious rhythm. Amen.
