Prayer for Depression

Lord, I come before you desperate and in despair, feeling lost and afraid. Shine your light of truth into my darkest places; fill me with hope, peace, joy, and love. Bring healing to my soul by Your grace that transcends all understanding – renewing my faith to fight this depression. Remind me of Your presence when I feel overwhelmed so that I can see the world through Your eyes again. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I turn to You in my darkness and despair, seeking Your healing. Filling me with courage and hope help me face my fear of the unknown and find joy in each moment. Please show me that my struggles matter and provide lasting peace amidst my confusion. Give me the strength to fight depression and anxiety while trusting that You have bigger plans for me than I can see now. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I come to You seeking peace of mind and healing for my sadness. Surround me with Your loving presence and fill my heart with joy. Take away the fear, desperation, and despair that fills me. Replace it with faith, courage, and strength to find hope even in the darkest moments. Help me fight this depression by giving me the wisdom to focus on the emotions that matter to revive happiness in life’s journey. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I struggle with depression and feeling lost. I don’t know how to find peace or rest in my soul. Please help me break through the darkness I feel and guide me with your truth and love so I can seek comfort in you. Let your light shine to give hope and courage, allowing me to wake up each day with a sense of purpose. Amen.

Dear God, I’m in desperate need of delivering from this depression! No amount of counseling or friends can help my deep and overwhelming feelings. Please show me your glory to banish the darkness that clouds my soul with pain and fear. Please give me the strength to seek peace within myself and teach me how life is better lived than suffering. May Your favor shine a light on my path, so many unknowns, as I point towards You for guidance. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

God, I come to You in need of relief from this depressing weight on my chest. Please help me to find hope and joy, give me peace and strength to overcome the darkness; show me the way out of this difficult season. Guide my daily steps with your light and comfort so I may conquer these feelings and live in Your peace again. Amen.

Father God, I ask for Your healing mercies over this depression that burdens me and weakens my soul. Help me to be filled with Your light so I can stand tall amid the darkness. Give me the strength to step forward into whatever You have prepared for me. May your peace guard my heart and fill my days with joy. Amen!

Oh Lord in Heaven, I humbly come before You in my time of need. I feel so down and alone, and the only thing that keeps me going is Your grace. Please help me lift my head and be strong when everything around me is crashing down. Comfort my sorrowful heart with Your tender mercies; fill it with courage and sunshine until every ray of hope has been restored. In Christ’s name, Amen.

God, I lift all those who are depressed or have become lost in their grief. I pray that You would remove the pain they are experiencing and restore hope in their lives. Please give them a brighter outlook on life and help them to understand Your unconditional love for them. Shine your light upon them so they may feel your presence each day. Amen.

Lord, I ask for your help lifting my friend from their depression. Let your loving kindness surround him and reassure him with your presence. Comfort and remind him that he is not alone – you are always there to ease his burdens, heal the pain and renew his strength. Guide my friend towards a path of hope, peace, happiness, and joy. Amen.
