Prayer for Blindness

In the enveloping darkness, we reach out to You, O Divine Healer, pleading for a miracle. Restore sight to these weary eyes, banish the veil of blindness that lingers. As declared in Psalm 146:8 “The Lord opens the eyes of the blind”, we place unwavering faith and hopeful trust in Your curative abilities. Amidst our trials, teach us never to stray from the luminous path of hope and healing. Light up our worlds once more, and shine Your hope-inspiring radiance upon us. In Your healing promise, let there be our enduring cure. Amen.

Kindly Father, unmask my heart of emotional blindness; fill me with understanding in dealing with these festering emotions. Illuminate my path, O Lord, with the light of clarity, and soften my heart to forgive as I have been forgiven. Bless me with sensitivity towards others’ feelings, grant me wisdom in my response to their hurt. Endow me with courage for honesty and strength needed for reconciliation. May Your truth liberate us from the chains of emotional unawareness and enlighten our hearts for a brighter tomorrow. Guided by You, let us not fear emotions but engage them honestly and bravely.
