Prayer for Acceptance of Death

Heavenly Father, we come before You in our hour of need, humbly seeking Your divine guidance. As we face the acceptance of death, make our faith strong. Living God, guide us in these moments, leading us towards eternal rest in Your radiant kingdom. Dear Lord Jesus Christ, illumine our journey with peace and serene acceptance. In the twilight of life’s day, stand beside us as we glimpse Your heavenly promise. May all the saints who rest in Your eternal kingdom grant us strength and steadfastness. With hope, we pray for joy beyond earthly understanding; a bliss only found in Your eternal presence – a respite from the anxieties of this world. We reach out to You in prayer… embracing death not as an end but as an entrance into everlasting life with You. Amen.

O Lord Jesus Christ, guide us gently towards acceptance of our impending departure from this earthly dwelling. May we grasp the tranquil assurance of Your eternal promise in Jeremiah 29:11, that You have plans to prosper us and not to harm us. Holy Spirit forever bathe us in Your serenity, filling every jaded alcove within our hearts. As we navigate this journey may we find comfort in Your infinite love and providence.
