St. Onuphrius Prayer

O, Saint Onuphrius, you lived the life of a holy hermit in the desert and were blessed with divine insight into human suffering and joys. Hear my prayer to you for help in abstaining from drinking alcohol. I know I have a problem, but I don’t want it anymore. Please give me the strength to cut off every source of temptation so I can focus on caring for my body, mind, and soul. Guide me through this difficult process as I pray to be set free from addiction to alcohol and be blessed with an even holier way of living. Amen.

O Venerable Onuphrius, blessed saint of palms and grace! I come to you pleading for your help as I’m in need of money. I implore you to reach out with your mercy so my dreams may remain hopeful and my financial matters shall be overcome. Guide me on a path of abundance so that I can live freely and abundantly. May the Lord’s divine favor serve to keep me safe and secure. Amen.
