St. George Prayer

O Lord, I humbly come to you today and ask for your protection through the intercession of Saint George. You granted him strength and constancy as he faced and overcame pain and suffering in defense of our Holy Faith. Through his example, may I be unyielding in my faith and serve you faithfully until my last breath. I often feel vulnerable without guidance or assurance; fill me with steadfastness so that no temptation will bring me away from your path, for protecting me is your divine grace. When fearful shadows cloud me, please remind me of St George’s courage as a martyr who fearlessly defended his faith even when threatened by executioners. May it be a reminder that whatever adversity comes my way, Your protective love will hold fast against all harm if only I remain faithful to Your loving mercy always! Amen.

O Eternal God, who granted Saint George the courage to withstand all kinds of torments for our holy faith, I beseech You to protect me from doubt and temptation, that I may serve You with devotion and sincerity until death. Through Your divine grace and the intercession of Saint George – protector of the persecuted people and martyr for our Lord’s glory – grant me strength in my convictions so that I may defend them always. Amen.

O Blessed Saint George, brave warrior and martyr of Christendom, I implore you to come to my aid with deep devotion. With your strong protection, divine sword, and sacred shield defending me from the hordes of darkness arrayed against me. I pray that their schemes fall apart beneath your feet as if they were but paper mache castles struck by a great force. By your power, may they be cut down and falter in my presence. Grant me your divine protection, keeping my enemies at bay and banishing them from wreaking further havoc in my life. Guide me this day unto salvation! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Oh Saint George, faithful servant of God, I kneel before thee and implore thy intercession that the doors of opportunity may open wide for me. Thou didst fight valiantly against the dragon of pride, falsehood, and deceit; thou didst win the crown promised by our merciful Lord. O Saint George, renowned for your heroic feat of saving a princess from a dragon, I stand before you today in the open petition. I seek the true love my heart desires, one that will make me feel appreciated and understood. I beg for your help and protection in finding this person and the courage to commit wholly to such an undertaking. Please carry my desires into the heavenly thresholds and bestow me with a connection of love that will stand the test of time. Amen.

Almighty God, thank You for the courage and conviction St. George had to remain firm in his faith! I humbly pray that through his intercession, You might grace me with a miracle. May I always serve You loyally and trustingly, no matter what life throws my way. Let Your divine power inspire me to stay strong during difficulties as St. George did so famously when he faced endless persecutions simply because of his steadfast faith in You. Amen!
