Prayer to Quit Smoking

Oh, Heavenly Father, I come before You today, asking for Your help as I strive to break free from addiction. Smoking is no longer beneficial in my life, killing me slowly. Draw me closer to You, so I may find solace and strength in You alone. Please help me to fill the void that smoking has left with healthy habits and activities, so this temptation will not return. Please give me the courage and resilience to combat cigarette cravings when they arise. Grant me freedom from this bondage of addiction through Your grace, Amen.

Holy Spirit, I humbly come before You seeking strength and guidance to quit smoking. Lord God, You love me and want the best for me. I know that cigarettes are not part of Your plan for my health and life, so today, I commit to stop smoking. Help me avoid this destructive habit as You give me a gentle spirit of endurance to withstand any cravings or urges to smoke. Give me clarity in thought as Your word enlightens every area of my mind and gives light solutions to every challenge I face in quitting this awful habit. I thank You, Lord, for bringing light into my life! In Jesus’s name, I ask these things; amen.
