Prayer to Make a Decision

Holy Spirit, guide me in my decision making. Enlighten my understanding to choose wisely concerning my pursuit for a master’s degree. God who gives generously, embolden me to make the final decision that aligns with Your righteous plan. In Christ Jesus, I find hope and reassurance as He promises in Proverbs 3:5-6, ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart…in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.’ Strengthen my trust, Lord, to lean not on my own understanding. Amen.

Heavenly Father, in this hour of need, we seek guidance as we stand on the precipice of a job decision. Overwhelmed by choices, our hearts are troubled. Lord Jesus, only You understand the depths of our confusion and fear for making rash decisions that may not align with the Lord’s purpose. Jesus Christ, bestow upon us Your peace which surpasses all understanding. In times when one lacks wisdom or clarity, remind us to look unto You for guidance in decision making. Order every step in accordance with Your will and illuminate the path before us. In unwavering faith and humility, we make this request. Amen.
