Prayer to Expose Lies

Heavenly Father, with pleading spirit we call upon Your Son, Jesus Christ, to expose the lies that darken our path. We are confident in Your holy promise – that You will strike down every false witness and hush every lying lip. Not just the deceptive words alone, oh Lord God, but the silent manipulations that lurk beneath. Through your Holy Spirit, we beseech you: let honesty shine on us like morning light; make us vessels of truth in a world tangled in deceit. In the name of Jesus Christ, break Satan’s power over any falsehoods burdening us or those surrounding us. As we strive to speak truth amid uncertainty, may God bless our righteous endeavor by exposing all lies and leading us to righteousness and truth. Amen.

Lord Jesus, grant us wisdom and patience to discern falsehoods in our midst. As honest witnesses, may we not be led astray by acting selfish motivations or misled by false impressions. Almighty Father, illuminate the path ahead that we might see through constant liars and false accusations, remaining firm as Christian witnesses even amidst the challenges that confront us. Empower us to embody truth in our words and actions, thus heap burning coals upon those who deceive, revealing unto them God’s wrath. Guide us steadfastly along God’s path of honesty and righteousness. Amen.

Oh divine truth, as the dictionary defines lying—bearing false witness, I find myself surrounded by such a convincing liar. King David sought your dwelling place, and so do I, seeking refuge from these trashy lies. Even as the person lying may practice magic arts, Your Word remains my shield. Like You uncovered all my sin—nothing hidden from Your sight—I ask You to reveal the full measure of truth here. Disarm this deceitful environment and allow transparency to pervade every corner of my life. Reminded am I of what You declare in Psalms 34:13 – “Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies,” this is my plea. For nothing is concealed that will not be disclosed or hidden that will not be made known. Heavenly Father, let justice prevail in truth’s supreme Salvationist currency. Amen.

Oh Mighty One, we find ourselves surrounded by the lying spirit that mocks Your Ten Commandments. We yearn for change in a world where even white lies prevail. Change the hearts of those with lying lips — an act You detest, Lord — and let every person learn from how an honest witness tells only truth. Remind us through Your Holy Spirit, just as You told our ancestors, about the dangers of false statements and the damage a lying tongue inflicts. Guide us, God, along Your path where honesty is not merely desired but required. Let our cries reach Your ears; trust in our passion for a truthful world. Amen.

In our quest for clarity, we turn to You, Sovereign of all truths. The dictionary defines lying, yet it can’t dissect its many forms; no matter what mask deceit adopts, it is still inherently evil—an overtone of darkness. How diabolical lying can be when acting from selfish motivations; a lying tongue fosters chaos and only lasts until truth prevails. In this sea of deceptions where the line between false testimony and truth blurs, help us discern the ultimate truth in all situations. Aware of how truly spiritual warfare permeates through each lie, we earnestly seek your light against all the lies we encounter. Amen.

Spirit of Truth, guide us as we strive to overcome evil spun from spinning political lies. Instill in us the courage to uphold our father’s desires for fairness and justice. Bless all that authority with unflinching integrity, illuminating their paths with all the truth. Let trust prevail over deception, fostering a climate of transparency for every citizen. May our determination never waver in our pursuit to unlock authentic leadership. Amen.

Dearest God, with a heart full of both love and concern, we come before You. Guiding our teenagers is no simple task; understanding the complexity of their emotions and actions often seems near impossible. Illuminate us, Supreme Comforter, to discern the hidden guilt they may be carrying. We beseech You to empower them with courage to abandon deceit, and embrace honesty. Grant us patience as parents or guardians in this phase of their venture into adulthood, comprehending that it is not an easy thing for them either. That they may reveal what lies obscured in the shadowed corners of youthful discretion and learn the virtue of trustworthiness. Amen.

Awesome God, who is both fair and true, help us discern those knowingly making false statements. Instill in us the wisdom to distinguish falsities and give us the calmness of heart to stay undeterred. As the Just Judge, direct us with ongoing and specific guidance. Fortify our confidence in every situation for we trust Your unerring truthfulness. Amen.

Gracious God, in Your infinite wisdom, guide us to discern the truth amidst habitual lying. You, who are eternally truthful and just, strengthen our hearts to bear this burden. Help us to be forgiving when faced with lying people and grant us the compassion that Jesus displayed when He died for our sins. Let us see only what is real and true, illuminating our path away from deception. By Your grace, bestow upon them introspection, making them aware of their damaging ways. May they have the courage to walk the path of honesty eventually. We hold onto hope as we trust in Your divine guidance. Help us endure these trials, knowing that truth always prevails through Your love. Amen.

Almighty Architect of Justice, we raise our voices in righteous anger against the untruth of illegal birth control perpetuated in societies. Fan the flames of truth, burn away the foggy mirage obscuring reality and sow seeds of undeniable fact. In Your infinite wisdom, You promote variety and free will; therefore, let not ignorance or wrong norms rob us from these rights. Teach those misguided to understand that withholding or distorting information about fertility control does incalculable harm to humanity’s collective growth. Strengthen our resolve to fight misconceptions about birth control until every woman has access to unbiased information she needs for her well-being. Amen.
