Prayer to Break Family Curses

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, heavenly Father of eternal love and almighty God who keeps all His commandments; I passionately seek Your divine intervention. As You promised in Exodus 20:6, bestow unto our family line generational blessings. I humbly appeal to You, break curses brought forth by negative words or by the hands of an evil personality, even those associated with family idols. Douse us under the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ which brings freedom from bondage and spiritual oppression. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, sundry every link to mental health issues or premature deaths that plague us. Set every member of my family free from these family curses and protect future generations as well. Grant us keen discernment to uproot every curse in our lineage and replace them with eternal grace. God bless our ancestry and enable us to model lives worthy of your Kingdom here on Earth, magnifying your holy name to indigenous ends. Surrounded by Your unfailing love, may we live as testimonials of Your liberating power over darkness and usher in a legacy of generational blessings. In Your precious name dear Lord Jesus Christ, we firmly affirm that no curse shall cross the boundaries set by Your victory on Calvary’s Cross for us again. Amen.

Eternal and Everlasting God, our Gracious Lord, before Thy altar we stand firm in the Holy Spirit. Hear us Almighty God, as we break free from the yoke of ancestral curses that bind our family lineage. In the Mighty name of Your Son, Jesus Christ – breaker of generational curses – we supplicate for liberation. We repent for all the sins of our forebears and beseech You to cut off the power of all evil covenants, evil pronouncements and patterns carrying over into our families’ future. We acknowledge that Thou art a Jealous God who punishes sins up to third and fourth generation but in thy graciousness retain mercy. Having been redeemed by Christ, let not untimely death nor any form of evil reinforce generational curses within our lineage. May we bask under your infinite blessings as you reshape and recreate us anew through Christ Jesus. Thank You Father God for your unfailing love throughout generations. We trust in Your ability to transform every curse into a blessing henceforth. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray – Amen.
