Prayer of Mending

Heavenly Father, in the midst of battle, we beseech Thee with urgency and compassion. Fill our holy priest with Your divine strength so he may extend his healing hand upon our sick comrade. Let Your miraculous spell fall upon them, mending their ailments, restoring their vitality. As in Psalms 147:3 “You heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.” Allow these words of restoration to imbue our ailing party member with revitalizing grace. In this trial, we place our trust in You; believing in your everlasting love and divine power as certain as dawn after the night’s darkest hour. Hear us now O Spirit Divine, translate this prayer into an instantaneous source of health and recovery. In Your holy name we pray this healing for our brother-in-arms. Amen.

Gently, dear Lord, we seek Your soothing hand to guide the sequenced mending jumps of our healing process post-surgery. As in Jeremiah 17:14, “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved”, we yearn for freely flowing rivers of spiritual strength and physical rejuvenation.
