Prayer for Toxic Relationship

Dear Heavenly Father, we beseech You, in the enduring love You have for us, to extend Your healing hands upon our hearts ravaged by unhealthy relationships. Hurtful echoes of emotional and physical abuse often remind us of another person’s toxicity – help us to surmount this pain. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3). Under the refuge of Jesus Christ’s love, foster our emotional healing as we strive to overcome these toxic ties. Bestow upon us Your divine wisdom that we may discern between love that builds and that which destroys; strengthen our resolve to repel relationships that drain but never refill.
