Prayer for Stroke Recovery

Lord Jesus Christ, in your mighty name, I call upon divine healing to repair the damage in my brain tissue from the stroke I’ve experienced. Foster restoration, instilling full health and reviving my vitality. In profound faith and earnest longing for wholeness, I unswervingly ask for your bountiful mercy and love. Amen.

Blessed and divine Saint Andrew Avellino, guardian of stroke victims, do impart your healing grace. In the matchless name of Jesus, may recovery be invoked upon the afflicted. Heal their suffering bodies and distraught spirits, fill them with renewed strength. Your intercession we seek fervently; in our trust in God’s healing power, we remain steadfast. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I stand before You today beseeching Your divine assistance for a dear one suffering from the aftermath of a stroke. In the throes of this uphill battle called stroke recovery, may they find insurmountable courage and enduring hope. Just as Paul found strength in struggles, saying “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13), so too do I pray for that supernatural strength in them. Heavenly Father, in Your infinite mercy, guided by the wisdom of Proverbs 4:22 which states, ‘for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body’, I turn my health concerns to you. I implore You through our Lord Jesus Christ to grant me control over my high blood pressure and good health, thereby helping me evade recurrent strokes. This I ask boldly, in faith and trust in Your enduring love. Amen.

In Your infinite grace, Almighty God, would you look upon the doctors and nurses attending to a stroke patient. May Your divine wisdom enfold and inspire them as they utilize their skills in this time of critical need. Please bless and guide their hands and minds. Bestow upon them strength, patience, and discernment in all their actions; may they serve as humbling reminders of Your love and mercy. In You we place our trust, now and always. Amen.

Jesus, our Great Physician, we need your abounding mercy now more than ever. We beseech you for a miracle, grant a swift and comprehensive recovery from this stroke. Breathe life into every cell, mending each broken pathway. We put our trust wholly in You. Amen.
