Prayer for Respiratory Disease

Almighty God, in humbled surrender, we ask for Your healing hand on those stricken by respiratory illnesses. Breath is life, Heavenly Father, and many are gasping, unable to draw its full bounty. Jesus Christ, lend them fortitude amidst their exhausting battles; with the armor of faith conquer this breathing difficulty. Replace it with divine love and restoration—breaths deep and easy. Cradle us in Your comforting embrace; as hope radiates, may health proliferate and joy punctuate every exhalation. In jesus name we pray, Amen.

O Beloved Divine, with your holiness I beseech You. On behalf of those wrestling with the weariness and insecurity related to breathing problems, please bestow your merciful intervention. Heal any allergies imposed that restrict the free flow of life-giving breath. As it is Your breath that sustains us all, may these afflicted find their breaths as strong and enduring as their spirits. We seek comfort in Your omnipotence and hope in the gentleness of Your love-filled whispers carried on each cleansing inhalation. Amen.
