Prayer for Psychosis

Eternal Light, I am lost in shadow but cling to Psalms 34:18 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”. From swirling chaos, grant me order; from relentless delusions, deliver truth. In this psychosis, allow me embrace of self-acceptance, faith-enhanced resilience to seek aid. Your love fuels hope within my disquieted heart. Out of tumultuous thoughts, lead me towards Your tranquil embrace. Amen.

Benevolent Savior, intervene in this whirlwind of unrest that engulfs me. Arising from Proverbs 3:24, imbue me with Your serene promises; “When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.” Amidst the torments born of my psyche, shield me with thy courage. Constrict these tendrils of psychosis which possess my mind and birth chaos unasked. Replace fear with calmness, disorder with stability; make me a testament to your incalculable strength. Anchored in Your love, even as storms rage within can I find tranquility. Can You fashion an oasis amidst turbulence within? Optimism allotted for despair’s purge – banish delusions which threaten sanity’s barricade. O Divine Healer of shattered minds and burdened hearts – offer graciously Your fortress against psychosis’ vicious fastening. May robust hope cascade through each coursing vein under the candlelight of Your sovereign love; a beacon amid the blurring distinction between reality and illusion. In trying times do we find our courage tested but blessed are they who brave the storm for they will bear witness to the iridescent spectacle that is Your grace. Gentle Shepherd leading me amidst obscured territories towards clear waters of tranquilty and green pastures of peace — impart unto your lost lamb tranquil blessings , dispelling clouding imaginations unto lucidity’s awakening embrace. For even amidst darkness exists an unwavering light — Yours — shimmering persistently till dawn’s arrival kisses away night’s clutch in tender dismissal. In Your encompassing care lies my refuge; My serenade whispered into the chaotic orchestra playing within – calming its discordant symphony into harmonious melody. This bespoke prayer ascends onto thee O Lord seeking solace amidst the illusory storm— let composure reign supreme over mental disarray, let courage outlast any ephemeral dread. For in You rests my hope, in You swells my strength for peaceful calm. Oh sweet Deliverer of divine grace, grant Your calming peace unto this perturbed mind and unsettled soul. Amen.

Gentle Sustainer, guide us as we strive to fathom the maze of psychosis. Instill in us, as per Your words in James 1:19—’Everyone be quick to hear, slow to speak’— an eagerness to comprehend. Bestow patience and persistence in our search for understanding; weave within us empathy like threads through cloth. For Your wisdom transcends human reason. Oh, Healer of the Broken, I stand before You in my vulnerability, cloaked in confusion and despair. I plead for Your divine intervention amidst this tumultuous storm of psychosis—restore peace to my fragmented mind. Oh, bringer of solace, infuse me with resilience to navigate through this unnerving labyrinth; encourage hope within my trembling heart. Wrap me in your sacred stillness, as the pieces of my shattered consciousness gradually heal and reconverge into a harmonious entirety—once disjointed, now serenely whole again. Oh God, may Your infinite love guide my journey toward illumination and wellness. Amen.
