Prayer for New Month

Benevolent God, as we embrace the new month of February, we seek Your guidance and strength. Shield us under Your sacred wings from evil’s severe threats and extend upon us Your profound peace. Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr. said, “October extinguished itself in a rush of howling winds and driving rain and November arrived, cold as frozen iron.” Let this cold be a chance for warmth in our hearts. Lead us on paths of peace amid chaotic times; it is Your promise in John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” Send breakthroughs that shatter walls of hindrance, clearing the way to better days ahead. Crown us with success as part of Your infinite grace, just as the leaves crown the trees before their fall. In this month full of thanksgiving, help us remember our blessings. Cautiously hopeful here we stand where October’s rains have washed away and ask for Your guidance through November’s doorsteps and beyond into life’s lingering twilight. Amen.

Lord, as we welcome the new month of December, may Your blessings overflow in our lives. We seek joy and fulfillment Psalm 84:11 promises, for You bestow favor and honor. God bless us with an appreciative heart to recall all You’ve done this outgoing year, inviting hope for the prosperous new year ahead. May our spirits be ensconced by your enduring love and guidance. Our High Tower, we welcome this new month and week with joyful hearts. Emboldened by Your steadfast love, restore to us the joy of our salvation which will breathe life into all our wasted years. As we step into this fresh cycle, let every evil arrow targeted towards us be rendered powerless. Let satanic embarrassment bow at Your feet. Bless parents with newborns in this new month; guide them on a path of wisdom and understanding as they nurture their gifts from above. Strengthen us as we weather life’s storms – may east wind paralyze any threat from the enemy and obliterate satanic records against us. Even as Jeremiah 29:11 assures that You have plans for our good, instill hope in our hearts against despair and imbue us with courage to overcome fears that allure us towards surrendering. Your promises are true, giving strength to the weary and increasing the power of the weak (Isaiah 40:29). In appreciation for Your unwavering faithfulness, may our lives manifest testimonies of transcended fears and renewed vigor.
