Prayer for Missing Someone You Love

Dear God, in the shadows of our grief, we find ourselves broken-hearted, aching with the pain of absence. Our tired and weary souls plead for Your presence; to bring refreshment in this arduous journey. Our tears flood our pillows at night, drenching our dreams with the memories of our dear friend’s heart. Though we tread upon life’s darkest valleys, help us find rest in your promise that there will be no more death. Enlighten us Lord so that through all this pain, we may find solace knowing grief heals smoothly within God’s presence. Lift our broken spirit and fill these weary hearts with peace as only You can provide. Let us find refuge and comfort wholly surrendering to You in hope beyond despair. We trust to find peace amid this agonizing void. In Your mercy Lord, hear our prayer and restore our spirits. Amen.
