Prayer for Hypochondria

Most Gracious Father in Heaven, I beseech You with a humble heart burdened by the fears of unseen maladies. I am ensnared in my own imagination, a prisoner of my doubts. Psalm 46:1 proclaims “You are our refuge and strength,” and so, with pleading voice I implore Your tranquillity to wash over me. Silence the clamor inside me that amplifies every minor discomfort into heralds of disease. Instill in me an unshakeable faith in your Divine Providence, a beacon amidst insecurity’s stormy waves. Assist me on this journey towards emotional balance and grant peace from my hypochondriac plight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Loving God, in You we find refuge and wisdom. Beseech Your discernment for medical practitioners diagnosing hypochondriacs, feeding not their fears but their faith in Your healing power.
