Midnight Prayer

Dear Father, I come to You in the stillness of this midnight hour. The darkness and the enemy’s schemes seem never-ending, but Your word promises I will have a breakthrough with Your help. Please open my eyes so I may see all the wicked machinations against me – and counteract them through Your power and grace. Break the chains of bondage keeping me captive and restore me to life, health, faith, and joy through your unfailing love. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Dear Lord, I am deeply humbled as I stand here at midnight and hear the clock strike twelve. My Lord Jesus, you had your Twelve Disciples who would have been brave enough to proclaim their love for you at midnight despite the darkness and despair. I, too, thank You for having me in Your presence, for You never turn away from me even when days seem daunting, or my spiritual walk has gone astray. Even though all around is blackness, Your light shows me what it truly means to be a child of God – faith, joy, and true liberation from sin and wickedness. Forgive my iniquities, acknowledged or not, and forgive those who plot evil against me so that they may no longer be entangled by darkness but shall feel comfort through Your holy grace instead. In this sacred time of possibilities amidst true belief, I praise You. Amen!

I stand at midnight and call out to You, Almighty God. Your Word says that I have “authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy” (Luke 10:19). I humbly request for Your protection from all evil, whether it be from wicked machinations or demonic forces, so as not to fall away from You. Through all the trials that this evil world throws my way, I trust in Your healing power and remember that with You, nothing is impossible. Pour down upon me strength, comfort, and hope so at midnight hours, when evil has its stronghold, I may triumphantly vanquish those arrows sent by my enemies through spiritual warfare. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Heavenly Father, I come before You in humility and faith. As written in Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper,” I pray for Your protection from the demonic forces of this battle. With Your mighty hands and power, I plead for You to break all the chains that bind me so that I can be released from the wicked plan of my enemies. Grant life unto me and release blessings to bring relief and happiness into my life again. O Lord, by your grace, hear my shamefully requested plea; alleviate these burdens with Heaven’s blessings upon my soul this night! Amen.
