Memorial Day Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, on this Memorial Day, we come before You with heavy hearts. We lift up the families who have lost their loved ones in service to our country. You know their pain, Lord; bring Your strong presence into their lives. Bless these military families with hope and help them find peace within their broken hearts. As stated in Psalms 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” May this promise provide them comfort in their sorrow.
