Holy Thursday Prayer

Heavenly Father, on this Holy Thursday, I remember the Last Supper, where Your Son, Jesus Christ, instituted the Holy Eucharist. I am humbled by His sacrifice and the washing of the disciples’ feet, as He said in John 13:15, “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.” I pray for the grace to serve others with humility and to receive the Eucharist with a heart full of gratitude and devotion. May Your Holy Spirit strengthen my faith and lead me closer to Your everlasting love. Amen.

Heavenly Father, on this Holy Thursday, I reflect on the words of 1 Corinthians 11:24, “And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.’” I pray that I may partake in the Holy Communion with a grateful heart, remembering the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ, for our salvation. Grant me the strength and humility to serve others in your name, guided by the Holy Spirit, and to live a life that brings glory and honor to you. Amen.

Heavenly Father, on this Holy Thursday, I remember the night when Jesus, our Lord, and Savior, humbly washed the feet of His disciples in the Upper Room. As Jesus said in John 13:14, “If I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.” Lord Jesus Christ, grant me the grace to serve others with love and humility, following your selfless example. May I also partake in the Lord’s Supper with a pure heart, remembering your sacrifice on the Cross for our salvation. In your holy name, I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, on this Holy Thursday, I remember the Last Supper when Jesus, your beloved Son, instituted the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. As the apostles gathered around the table, Jesus took the bread, blessed it, and said, “Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which will be given up for you” (Matthew 26:26). Lord Jesus Christ, I stand in awe of your humility and sacrifice. Fill my heart with gratitude for the gift of the Eucharist, and help me to always seek your mercy and forgiveness, especially during this Holy Week. Amen.

Oh, Lord Jesus Christ, in the Garden of Gethsemane, you experienced unimaginable agony as you accepted the sacrifice you would make for us on the cross. I humbly come before you, in remembrance of your passion, asking for the grace to bear my own crosses in life. As stated in John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends,” may I always remember your love for us and strive to share that love with others in this world. Amen.
