God, I humbly approach Your holy presence, embracing the gift of silence You have provided. In this serene moment of contemplation, my attention is solely for You. Spending time in Your quiet affinity becomes my strength; for as Psalms 46:10 says, “Be still and know that I am God.” Instill in me the wisdom of Christian history and infuse my spirit with mindfulness borrowed from the life patterns of Jesus Christ. As I submerge into this contemplative practice, allow me to delve deeper into understanding your pure gift – a love so vast it surpasses understanding.
