Anima Christi Prayer

Soul of Christ, sanctify us. Passionately, we seek in You our salvation, Jesus the Anointed One – our world’s lone hope. Body of Christ, may it nourish us and fortify us in faith; with divine sustenance, revive our spirits. Blood of Christ poured out for many, cleanse us from all inequity. Water from the side of Christ released in sacrifice at the cross, ’tis a testament of Your love for mankind as said in John 15:13 –“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” Sanctifying Spirit of Jesus– dwell within us fully. Sacred Heart oh radiant beacon – guide us on a path to righteousness. Sweet Jesus hear our devout pleas. O good Shepherd tend to your flock, fortify us against evil’s relentless persistence may His passion engulf us and His hope illuminate our way forward in this mortal coil to attain eternal life with You O Lord. Amen.

Grateful we stand in Your sacred presence, Lord of Love and Salvation. In the blessing of Your Body and Blood, we gaze upon Christ’s divine sacrifice with hearts stirred by profound thankfulness. Inspire within us courage, O Most High; the bravery born from Your Holy grace to shield us from sin. In contemplating the purity of Your Sacrifice, help us to embody its essence and live our lives as a testament of faith. Anima Christi, it is through you that we truly comprehend love’s grandeur and mercy’s depth. Lead us on this holy path with unwavering spirit. As Churchill once said: “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” Let this be our prayer after communion – for we know that through You, all things are possible. Amen.

Lord Jesus, guide us through the stormy sea of life. In our darkest hour, we seek Your strength and comforting embrace. May we find solace in Your Sacred Heart, embodying the spirit of courage and divine resilience. Through Your Precious Blood, fortify our frail hearts and minds against all earthly tribulations. Body of Christ, sustain us; Blood of Christ, embolden us; Holy Ghost, engulf us with Your sanctifying grace. In adversities that shake our faith, let the water from Christ’s side wash over us with healing and hope. Grant us the wisdom to understand the true purpose behind our struggles and help us discover You in every fragment of our lives. Blessed Virgin Mary, intercede for us. Anima Christi, infuse vigor into our weary souls. Lead us into paths where peace prevails even amid life’s daunting challenges. We trust in You alone for guidance and salvation. Amen.
